More from the Shower...
Well, I have the final diagnosis for my computer...BRoKEN!
CRASH BOOM BAM!!! I am so disappointed.
I got the call from the Computer Guys, you know, the ones who "know everything" about computers. He
said.."It's missing an operating system" I said, "what does that mean???" He said, "missing Windows.."
I said.." How can that be??? How does a computer just have the operating system go missing??? Where did it
go???" He said...giving me his most technical tone of voice..." I don't know..."
Anyway, BLAH BLAH BLAH...After trying to re-install Windows numerous times and every which way, it
has been declared Broken! The hard drive is damaged or missing. Since I can see it in there I guess it must
be damaged. =(
It has me mystified! One day It's just fine, I'm editing pictures with ease, and the next day...
Windows is M.I.A!
Which also means I have LOST a TON of work!
It's not been a good winter for my computers. Thank The LORD it is the first day of Spring!
A fresh new start.
Fortunately for me, I have the use of Raine's computer to which I have imported my site builder.
And I have most of my work from 08/09 backed up double time. So even though I have lost a lot of beautiful
pictures and a lot of hard post processing work, I just have to move on. It could have been much worse.
And I still have a few Shower pictures! YAY!!!!
So, I'll just get right to it and quit whining!
